Hole #8 – Par 4
Hole number 8 is a good opportunity to leave the driver in the bag. There is a premium on keeping your ball in the fairway here. Shots hit right into the trees will require a chip out or stroke and distance penalty for wayward shots hit OB. Balls hit too far left will also make it difficult to achieve a green in regulation. Approach shots must be solidly struck so as to clear the water hazard creek running east to west approximately 30 yards short of the green. Again, this hole has a steep collection area over the green and is two-tiered, sloped back to front.
