Hole #11 – Par 5

Decisions, Decisions!  This tricky Par 5 presents a difficult tee shot with trouble all over.  The smart play is to layup short of the creek that cuts across the fairway and stretches down the left side.  There is OB right towards the road.  That said, laying up will leave you a more aesthetically challenging second shot whereas driving your ball over the creek and avoiding all danger, will leave you a much more inviting second shot and opportunity to go for it in two and avoid the fairway bunker left.  There is more room right over the pond than you think, so don’t be afraid to favor that side for a much better angle into a two-tiered green.
